I'll never forget the one time I got a note home in the third grade š¢š I was typically a good third grader but I broke the pencil sharpener because I was very curious as to what would happen if I sharpened the eraser ššš¾ I came here to learn right?! I'm not afraid of my teacher yelling at me if she can't put her hands on me āŗļøš Well Ms.Bass was NOT having it that day and I got a note that I had to bring home and have my parents sign.. well played š. I was terrified ā¹ļø My little brother was usually the one getting those notes or phone calls home so I know what's gonna be waiting for me when I get home. šµšš„šŖā°ļø I had to stop thinking about stickers and glitter for two seconds to figure out how I was gonna get myself out of this one. I tried to practice my mom's signature but quickly realized that I could barely write my own name in script and could barely spell my mom's š©. I saw some paperwork on my mom's desk and then it hit me š” I was gonna trace her signature on to my note ššš¾. But the paper was too thick to trace it š© but both papers were white sooooo I cut out a circle around her name and pasted it on to the note, stuffed it in my bookbag and went to sleep with a full belly really thinking I was deserving of maybe even getting bumped up a grade for my brilliance š. When Ms.Bass asked if my mom had signed her snitch-slip I handed it right to her and acted all sad like she had gotten me thrown out of a window. She looked at the paper, then looked at me, then made me watch as she peeled the circle of my mom's signature off of the snitch slip. š Idk why she had to go and be petty when it wasn't MY fault that she has a bad sharpener AND bad glue š. Moral of the story? Public Schools need more funding.
